Two years after joining the company, as the Head of Commercial Finance, Mark Heckels (above) has taken over as Managing Director.
The move comes as former MD and co-owner of the business, Noel Corcoran, decided to take a step back from the day-to-day operations of Ideal 4 Finance to focus more on the strategic development of the company and his wider business interests. He will continue to be closely involved as Chairman and CEO.
Noel said: “These are exciting times for our business with new products coming online and plans to grow through acquisition. Last year, we launched a new specialist lending company, to lend on unregulated property finance and business assets, which we have also targeted for growth.
“Mark is a professionally qualified banker with over 16 years’ experience in commercial and corporate banking. His background and financial acumen make him extremely well equipped for this role and I know our business will benefit greatly from his experience.”
Since joining Ideal 4 Finance in early 2020, Mark has been instrumental in developing and diversifying its commercial finance operations. He also spent eighteen months overseeing the compliance function, during which time he led a full compliance review, and has been closely involved in all key areas of the business.
