Founded less than two years ago, SW Beans of Cornwall has quickly established itself as one of the leading coffee machine suppliers in south-west England. Winners of the region’s Coffee Machine Supplier of the Year award for the past three years, they have a reputation for quality and excellent service.
Craig and Nicki Simpson, and their small team, supply new and reconditioned coffee machines to cafes, pubs, restaurants, hotels, convenience stores and other outlets. Alongside their range of traditional, barista-style machines and very popular Bean2Cup machines, they offer accessories and their own brand range of coffee.
“We offer the complete service – machines and coffee – and pride ourselves on always being available to offer personal, after sales guidance and support,” says Craig.
Part of the service is being able to offer finance to commercial customers to help them with their machine purchases, which they do through a partnership with Ideal4Finance Commercial.
“Our new machines are upwards of £2000 and some businesses don’t have the cash upfront for a purchase of that size,” says Craig. “We’ve managed to secure two new sales recently, one to a pub and one to a convenience store, thanks to being able to offer finance.”
With a background in finance, Craig knew it would be an important feature of his business. “Without doubt, being able to offer finance helps our business,” he says. “Having a commercial finance partner definitely gives us opportunities to win sales that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.”
According to motorbike enthusiast, Craig, the coffee business is fast-paced and highly competitive. It’s no surprise then that SW Beans are the main sponsor and supplier to the hospitality unit of top British Superbikes team, FHO Racing.
Running a successful business alongside these demanding sponsorship commitments, makes for a busy schedule, but Craig and Nicki are more than ready for the challenge. At least, when it comes to offering finance, they have a reliable and responsive partner in Ideal4Finance Commercial.
